Eerst is het een handzeepje, en daarna kun je het gebruiken als een sponsje voor de afwas! Het is namelijk gehaakt met Rico Creative Bubble, wat wasbaar is op 60 graden Celsius.
First it's a handsoap, and when it's all used up you can use the cover as a dish scrubby! It's crocheted with Rico Creative Bubble, and it can be washed at 60 degrees Celsius.
Begin met het ontwerp van je hoesje. Zoals je ziet is dit een klein zeepje, en er passen precies 8 vasten in de breedte. (Haak liever een vaste te weinig dan te veel, want het hoesje moet goed strak om het zeepje heen zitten.)
Ik ging dus voor het eerste hartje.
Start with your design. As you can see this is a small soap bar. I could fit exactly 8 single crochets in the width, therefore I chose the first heart. Crochet rather 1 single crochet too little than too much, because it needs to fit tightly around the soap.
Haak een lapje van vasten, precies zo groot als de lengte van je zeepje of net iets groter en begin dan met inhaken van je patroon.
Crochet a patch of single crochets, exactly the length of your soap or a little bit more, and then you start with crocheting your design.
Hecht een nieuwe kleur aan door de laatste steek van de vorige kleur af te maken met de nieuwe kleur. Zoals je op het bovenste plaatje ziet: 2 lussen op je naald van de vaste, en dan op het onderste plaatje: haal de nieuwe kleur er doorheen.
Attach a new colour to finish the last stitch of the previous colour with the new colour. As you can see on the top picture: the 2 loops of the single crochet on your hook, and then on the picture underneath: pull the new colour through the loops.
Haak het aantal benodigde steken en dan wissel je weer naar de oude kleur, op dezelfde manier. Het is het mooist als je de oude draad meeneemt terwijl je haakt zoals ik doe op het plaatje.
Crochet the amount of single crochets needed, and then you change back to the old colour the same way. It looks nicest when you take along the old colour as you crochet, like I do on the picture.
Hoe kleiner je plaatje is, hoe contrasterender de kleuren moeten zijn. Zeeblauw met een rood hartje is bijvoorbeeld veel duidelijker dan andersom. Ik wilde zeeblauw en lichtblauw combineren maar dit heb ik weer uitgehaald, je zag bijna niets van het ontwerp.
The smaller your design is, the more contrasting the colours need to be. Sea blue with a red heart is a lot more visible than the other way around for example. I wanted to combine see blue and light blue, but I took it apart again, because you couldn't see anything from the design.
Knip de draad af met een lang einde zodat je de zijkanten hiermee dicht kunt naaien.
Cut the thread with a long tail, so you can sew the edges with it.
En klaar zijn ze, schattig toch?
