Opzetten in de onderste lussen - Starting in the back stitches

Goedemorgen!
Ik haakte altijd in de voorste 2 lussen van de opzetlussen tot ik ergens deze techniek tegenkwam. Als je op deze manier begint zijn de boven- en onderkant hetzelfde.
Het ziet er netter uit, je werk lubbert minder snel, èn het is makkelijker en mooier om er een randje aan te haken.  
Een haaksteek bestaat uit 3 lussen, hieronder zie je de voorste en de achterste lus:

I always crocheted in the front of chain stitches until I saw this technique. When you start this way the base looks just like the top part, and your work becomes neater, stays tighter, ànd it will be easier to crochet an edging. 
A crochet stitch consists of 3 loops, here you see the front and the back loop:

Op de volgende 2 foto's zie je de onderste lussen. Voor extra duidelijkheid heb ik er stipjes op gemaakt op de 2e foto, de foto's staan op zijn kop. 
On the next 2 pictures you can see the back part of the stitches, what I call the base loop or the back ridge loop. To make it a bit more clear I drew dots on them on the second photo, the photos are upside down. 


Haak in deze onderste lussen, dus je steekt je naald in onder de enkele lus, vanaf de voorkant.

En ik haak in een enkele magische ring, maar een dubbele of een ring van 4 lossen kan uiteraard ook. Crocheted Tartan Plant Pot Cover - Gehaakte Geruite Plantenpothoes

A couple of years ago I made this tutorial for byClaire & Friends.  It seemed the link didn't work anymore, and I wanted to translate it into English anyway, so here is the revised version. This tutorial is for a pot with a diameter of 23 cm and hight 21 cm, but you can adjust it to a different size. If you want to make a swatch: crochet 1 square with 2 stripes on one side and at the top. Now you can measure how many you need for your pot, and maybe use a different size hook if you want smaller or bigger squares, or when you're using a different size yarn. For some more tips, please scroll down to the remarks underneath the pattern. What do you need: I used hook size 6 (and size 3 for hiding the ends), 2 balls of byClaire Softmix for the main colour, 1 ball of Softmix as the secondary colour and 1 ball of byClaire Sparkle. Train Track Join

Het heeft even geduurd, maar hier is dan de beschrijving hoe je vierkantjes aan elkaar kunt haken met de Train Track Join. Op Instagram heb ik een poll gehouden over de naam, en deze kwam als winnaar uit de bus, waarschijnlijk omdat het echt een beetje lijkt op spoorrails. En het klinkt wel lekker eigenwijs, toch? Je kunt deze manier op verschillende manieren toepassen. Afhankelijk van hoeveel vasten je tussendoor haakt en hoe groot je de lusjes maakt, worden de 'rails' oftewel de ruimtes ertussen groter of kleiner.  It took a while, but here is how you join granny squares with the Train Track Join. On Instagram I did a poll on the name, and this was the most popular one, probably because it resembles it so much. And it sounds a bit crazy too doesn't it haha.
